have gone into this D8L,
with more than $40,000 of that spent in the last year alone.
In May of 2007 a rebuilt CAT engine was installed.
In March, 2009, the clutch and brake assemblies were replaced.
In December 2009, the main hydraulic pump was replaced,
Cat tracks were installed in August, 2010,
the equalizer bar, pin and bushings were replaced in July, 2011
and in November of last year, the final drives
and front main roller pins and bushings were replaced,
the track pins turned, and new sprockets installed.
Most recently, on 4/19/12, this machine had its
trans valve and lift rams rebuilt,
its trunion replaced, new pins and bushings installed,
and a complete service with all oils changed.
measures 20.4'x9.3'x12.7' (LxWxH, with blade),
and is powered by a rebuilt 335hp CAT 3408 diesel.
and there are no welds on the frame.
It's a good, straight machine,
whose owner hates to see her go.
Although this Cat D8L has 15,752 hours on it,
it's been so carefully maintained
that it's in better running condition
than many newer machines,
and will still handle anything you throw at it.
