Custom Low Speed - High Torque Demolition Shredder/Materials Reducer used for sale

to aid in the demolition of military bases --
is the only one of its kind in the United States,
and its owner has sunk more than 300 thousand dollars
into its purchase, refurbishing, and rebuilding.
This equipment was specifically designed
to deal with construction debris,
as well as the debris left behind
by hurricanes and "super storms", like Irene and Sandy.
It's versatile, being capable of handling nearly any conventional construction debris
including wood, siding, shingles, steel studs, and dry wall.
It also handles other common debris,
such as tires, tree stumps, shipping pallets, and asphalt.
The basis of the design
is a rare German CAT demolition shredder body
with 1” thick steel plate frame reinforcing
bolted and welded within the trailer frame.
It features interchangeable shredder teeth,
5” independent forwarding
and reversible rotation steel shafts
(purchased from a military recycling base in CA),
a Grason hydraulic independently controlled conveyor
that will feed dumpsters ranging from 10 to 40 yards.
is powered by a CAT 3406 turbo diesel,
in tandem with a brand new
Twin Disk/Funk Pump Coupler Transmission with extra spares,
that in turn is coupled to twin Sundstrand hydraulic pumps.
The overall dimensions are 50’x11’ (LxH)
with an estimated weight of 65,000 pounds.
The transmission, hydraulic pumps and radial gear motors have all never been used.
It's had a new coat of dealer-supplied Komatsu Safety Yellow paint.
Despite its considerable size, it's easily portable,
thanks to a steerable lift axle.
plus a 300 gallon hydraulic tank and coolers.
Since the teeth are replaceable without removing the shaft,
maintenance of this material reducer is easy.

two KYB Hydrostar MRH 2-190
variable speed low speed/high torque radial gear motors,
a new custom fabricated 400 gallon hydraulic tank
with twin hydraulic coolers,
optional remote EPC (Electronic Pump Controls),
and an incompletely installed
Hyauntic Marine pump control system.
recently took on another contract,
and won't be needing this shredder any more.

Some assembly is required;
while the machine is 95% complete
(including safety rails and detachable CIC rear bumper),
its controls need to be installed,
and a few small adjustments made,
though these should be easy for anyone
with a working knowledge of mechanics and hydraulics.
