Ford 3000 Farm Tractor plus Land Pride Brush Hog

Henry Ford's cars and companies helped to spur development the world over, and the name has become synonymous with a certain urban exuberance. Ironic, then, that Ford grew up on a farm, and that for quite some time his company had a hand in producing affordable tractors for small farmers. Ford tractors were so well-received that their production continued through 2000, well after Ford acquired New Holland and the combined company's agricultural line was taken over by Fiat.

This is a Model 3000 agricultural all-purpose tractor manufactured in December, 1969. It has a gas-powered, live PTO 540 RPM engine. While it's not much to look at, the tractor still runs well, and will continue to do so if it's properly maintained. The same can be said of the attached Land Pride brush hog, which is still in good running order. It will still offer fast, clean, dependable mowing with high blade tip speeds. Its stump jumper allows you to bypass the larger stuff (stumps, rocks and debris) that the blade isn't designed to handle, while the built-in guards ensure safety.
