Metso Corporation is the result of a merger,

this one between Valmet and Rauma.

The company, which came into existence in 1999,

is headquartered in Helsinki, Finland.

While the company serves many industries,

including pulp and paper, power, panelboard production

and the hydrocarbon and process industries,

some of its best-known offerings

were designed for rock and mineral processing.

Today, those machines, like the Nordberg CV100 Screener,

are used for mining, aggregate production,

quarrying and construction.






This Nordberg CV100 mobile screen

weighs 24,380 pounds.

Its single axle weighs 13,897 pounds.

It measures 27' 7" x 8' 6" x 12' 0" (LxWxH),

with an 11’ x 7’ deck.

It’s powered by a Deutz BF4L1011 32.5 kW (44 Hp)

liquid cooled diesel engine.

It features a vibrating shaker head

with direct hydraulic drive.

Its dual-deck design measures 11' x 7',

with both decks capable of accepting

assorted grids, woven wire screen cloth,

perforated steel punch plate or finger decks.

The CV 100 has a heavy duty chassis

with hydraulic front lifting leg,

riding on four 9.0 x 17.5 tires

with hydraulic wheel elevation system,

mud flaps, and air brakes.

It’s suitable for over–the–road towing

with pintle hook tow assembly,

tail lights and directional signals.
