Pictures of Equipment
If a picture is worth a thousand words, then Pictures of Equipment speak volumes. After all, even the most detailed description or spec sheet falls short of doing what a photograph can give you in a split second. Let’s take a moment to discuss why you should insist on plenty of pictures of a machine before you buy from your dealer or broker of used machinery.

Let’s say you’re in the market for a Wheel Loader You may even have your heart set on a certain brand. So let’s say you’ve heard good things about John Deere You tool around the internet, finding spec sheets, plenty of listings on Machinery Trader, and maybe even a private seller or two. What you’re not finding, however, is much to tell you whether this is, in fact, the right machine for you.

Now let’s imagine you come across a site with multiple wheel loaders, each with multiple photos. You may see a Deere that looks just about right for the job, but that needs a bit more work than you have the time or money to put in right now. Maybe this Kubota would do better? No, that looks a bit too big… maybe you’d be better off with that skid steer. Nice and compact. But wait, here’s a Cat Backhoe Loader.....

Long story short, the photos will do three things: First, they’ll let you know whether a particular machine is going to be the right fit for you, and the work you do. Second, you’ll have a visual reference of potential cosmetic and functional issues. Third, and probably most importantly, those images, along with the other details, will arm you with the tools that let you ask your broker or dealer the right questions the first time, every time, and then to make the right decision. No matter what you do, or whatever else you may be – farmer, long-haul trucker, handyman, landscaper or contractor – you’re also a businessman, and as such, you’re always looking out not only for your clients, but also for your bottom line. Used equipment can be one of the best, and smartest, ways to do that. The right used piece can boost productivity, or give you options that you may not have had before. However, to protect that investment and that bottom line, not just any piece will do; it needs to be the right piece, in the right condition. A glance at a photo along with detailed information can tell you whether your potential purchase, be it an Excavator or a skid steer, is project-ready or if it needs a little TLC. Depending on your needs, level of skill, and patience, this might steer you toward a mechanic’s special, or toward a later-model piece of used machinery with less wear and tear. One of the worlds most popular is Cat Equipment For Sale
