Blaw-Knox began producing paving equipment with its acquisition of AW French & Company in 1929. Blaw-Knox was so successful, it was purchased by White Consolidated Industries in 1968, and later by Ingersoll-Rand in 1995. They currently operate under the umbrella of Volvo Construction Products. They have always been a leading manufacturer of paving equipment, and have multitudes of faithful customers worldwide.
has a 6.8 liter John Deere 6068T 6-cylinder diesel engine with turbocharged aspiration. It has a hydrostatic transmission with front wheel assist. John Deere motors are well known for their work performance. This Blaw-Know paver features dual open operator stations for easy workload exchanges.
that are known for high work performance. The screeds has two hydraulically extendable screeds that provide infinite paving width variations up to 18 feet without any extensions. They can be manually set to depths between 1/4 inch to 12 inches deep. The front-mounted, full-depth extensions and the main screed are equipped with heat and vibration. The screed plate is 18 inches wide and 1/2 inch thick. It has a center compaction crown between 3 positive inches to 3/4 negative inches. Crown, slope and height are easily controlled with the Omni III screeds.
It does have some wear and tear that is normal with typical use. The screeds and pumps on this Blaw-Knox are 100% rebuilt for maximum performance. The abrasive-resistant augurs are in good condition, and there are no known mechanical issues. It has always performed its job well. This workhorse is ready to work today.
