Koehring Bantam T644 Teleskoop Excavator used for sale
dates from 1980.
Equipped with Detroit Diesel engines
for both the powertrain and the crane,
it's fully operational
and 100% work-ready.
It has a 51,000 pound GVWR,
and 42,340 GVW with a 24" bucket attached.
This is a good machine for excavating
in hard to reach or irregular places.
the Koehring company developed and built
a string of successful, innovative machines.
These included the first dry batch paver,
plus cable excavators,
long reach telehandlers, trenchers, and more.
The Koehring name, along with associated brands Lorain and Bantam,
would be discontinued when Terex acquired the company.
For now, this T644 Teleskoop excavator
is a testament to a company that may have faded,
but whose equipment chugs along stubbornly to this day.
