1994 Vermeer TG 400 Tub Grinder used for sale, Vermeer TG400 12' Tub Grinder, Plumbed for Dyeing System
Vermeer TG400 Specifications
a 1994 that's powered by a CAT 3406 engine
with 7,000 hours.
It measures 37'x 8 1/2'x12'(LxWxH)
and weighs in at 35,000 pounds.
The TG400 has a 12' x 5' tub,
and is equipped with conveyors
that are 30" wide x 3/8" thick,
with a feed rate of 0-300 FPM.
Its production rate ranges from
150 - 175/yph, depending on screen.
Currently, the machine is set up with
2" and 1 3/4" screens,
having been in steady use making brown playground mulch.
(the hose from which is visible in the photos),
but the dyeing system isn't included in the sale.
This machine has been well-maintained.
Its clutch was redone last year,
the belts are relatively new
and are still in great shape,
and the machine is not only serviced regularly,
it's also greased before each use.
It is still in daily use,
and the mulch piles in the photos
were all made with this grinder.
