Brown Lenox History
but its roots go back to the 1830's,
when the company was a manufacturer of naval anchor chains.
Half a century later, the company began
building the rock crushers for which they're known to this day.
Brown Lenox would merge first with Pegson,
then with Powerscreen, and would finally be absorbed by Terex.
However, the name endures,
as does a tradition of quality
that stretches back nearly two centuries.
